How My Life Changed
by Rebecca Perry
When I became aware of spirituality in 1970 you literally would have to travel to India to attend a satsang, and for many this would not be easy. Over the last 4 decades I have read many books, listened to many cassette tapes and finally, heard many cd’s and watched many dvd’s. Today you can purchase cd’s and dvd’s or go online and watch and listen to an endless variety of satsangs given by a countless number of people from all nationalities and walks of life and that is just what I did, literally every day. The messages were compelling and left me with a longing to understand the mysterious, exotic message that was being delivered which I just simply could not quite grasp so naturally, I could only keep listening and reading or just give up all together and just get on with day-to-day life with its usual tribulations, to get rid of which I used to listen and read. But for me, life had no flavor without these mysterious pronouncements, so I kept at it, thinking it was me just not quite getting the message, which of course tends to leave anyone feeling very inadequate or thinking they must have plenty of really bad karma to burn off.
I just completed a major overhaul of my website: endless-satsang.com. The look and feel is the same, but there are many improvements to the function and speed of the website, including a new feature that gives the website "responsive design". This means that the website automatically configures itself for different screen sizes, so now the website is easy to read and navigate on a tablet or smartphone. Try it out on your computer by slowly making the window smaller, and watch as the site reconfigures itself to fit. An especially fun new feature is the free ebooks display widgets on this free ebooks page:
Please let me know what you think of the improved site, and especially how the site displays on a smartphone or tablet. And also let me know if you find any broken links or problems. Thanks and enjoy the new site.
Satsang with Nick Gancitano at the Onederful Gathering
Blowing Rock, NC
June 11, 2012
Nick will be giving satsang and discourse on "Be Still and Know I AM God," based on his newly released book by the same title. After discovering Self-inquiry, Nick underwent a profound shift that left him as the impersonal sense of Being. Ramana Maharshi then guided Nick to share the Self-Inquiry in the West. In 2002, several of his students formed the South Florida-based Atma-Vichara Ashram, where he was the acting spiritual director known as I Am for five years before teaching abroad from 2007 to 2010 and writing his first book. In early 2010 he established The Self-Inquiry Center in Delray Beach, Florida. When he is not traveling to share the message of Be Still and Know I AM God, Nick and his wife Penelope reside at the Center and disseminate the Self-Inquiry.
I received an email with the folowing question:
I have something to ask that has confused me deeply. How are you going to respond if you happen to see a person molesting another person. Is it okay if we just let someone harm others? It seems that if we were enlightened, then we would perceive everything as one, so we would just let someone harm others without attachment.
Here is my response:
This is a common question as it is confusing to the mind when two opposite things are both true. So while it is true that everything is one thing, and there is ultimately nothing that can harm consciousness, it is also true that people can and do harm each other physically and mentally. And it is always possible to act in a situation like you describe also without attachment.
Another simple example of two opposite things being true is how the sun is still shining on a cloudy day. From where you stand, there may be thick clouds and even rain. And yet the bigger truth is that the sun is still shining above the clouds. I say it is a bigger truth as the sun shines on the entire earth, not just the clouds above your head, and the daily rising and setting of the sun is more constant and longer lasting than any particular rainstorm. However, just because it is true that the sun is still shining, that does not mean that you should go out in your bathing suit and some sunscreen to work on your tan! The rain is still real, and you may want to wear a raincoat instead.

Join this amazing exploration into deeper possibilities of freedom.
In this meeting, Florian and Julia invite participants to self inquiry and a direct recognition of who they truly are, as well as to explore in a uniquely grounded and simple way any unconscious belief patterns that determine our way of being in life. The meeting is an invitation to BE and EMBODY what we have understood and accomplished with our minds. In this we can bring the beauty and tremendous transformative power of NON-DUALITY into the depth of the body, and therefore into daily life. Transformation takes place at a cellular level as stress and fear energy in the nervous system dis- charges. Being consciousness includes taking part in the full activity of life as well as resting in the arms of the beloved. In living as an embodiment of consciousness nothing is excluded; everything is genuinely welcomed and embraced. Living as the space of awareness becomes our embodied reality in daily life, rooted in what we love the most: BEING FREE.

Question: For more than 6 years now I have been 'doing' Self-inquiry to figure out: Who is the doer? When there is no I-thought, actions seem to happen on their own. No doer, like a sentence that has just been written down. Or as you state on your website, seeing/hearing/smelling is happening without an I doing it or thinking about the action. Only when there is a pre-thought such as 'I am now going to lift my right hand in the air', 'I' can see that that thought just happened out of nowhere. Not that the arm is moving or happening on its own accord. That is why the I is still in place, because it feels like I am the doer. So I am the doer and I am not the doer at the same time. This cannot be right and at the same time it feels like something is missing. Any suggestions to make the seeing clear? [Click 'Read More' for Nick's response]
"Only This One is Fit" ~ Mooji
By special request: The request for this story to be posted was made by someone who attended satsang the day of this recording, and was deeply touched by the story of the king. Also included in this video is the preceding dialogue; from the uncut DVD "Drop Yourself".
"Even the imagined life stands on the support of the universal support; but in the mind of consciousness, if it believes itself to be an individual, "doing", it comes into the dream of karma... The push, the impulse, of consciousness is to undress itself in this body of its dreaming. It's tired of sleep, it's tired of nightmares, it's tired of suffering!" (Mooji)
PS: the day after posting this video to YouTube, I received this message on Facebook from another friend who attended satsang when this video was recorded: "The next day a note came to Mooji with a question: ' why did you cry when telling the story yesterday ?' " "Because I was happy" said Mooji
