Call-in Tips

Live shows are watched on a Livestream or Ustream video player, either on the Lstrm website, or on an embedded player like on our /videopage.htm. This stream is actually delayed about 5 or more seconds from real time. Therefore you cannot continue to watch the show and call in at the same time. It would create a confusing echo, which would also appear on the broadcast.

When you call in, you hear and/or see the show only through the telephone/skype whichever is your method of calling. On Skype you will see the guest, and if you have a webcam, the guest will see you. So as you make connection on your call-in, you must turn off this video player with the gray no/off on the lower left corner. You could also turn the volume all the way down by repeatedly clicking the minus sign, (okay for a phone call), but the risk is that your bandwidth is not enough for the player video image and Skype to run at the same time with clear audio.
