Non-Duality and Reflection
Andreas: "Verse 160 of the Vivekacudamani by Adi Shankar:
"The stupid man thinks he is the body, the booklearned man identifies himself with the mixture of body and soul, while the sage possessed of realization due to this discrimination looks upon the eternal Atman as his Self, and thinks "I am Brahman"."
Observe the word 'thinking' in this quote. The stupid man thinks, and the sage thinks."
Response: Verse 160 translated by Chinmayananda: "I am the body- thus thinks a foolish man. A man of mere book knowledge considers himself to a combination of the body and the jeeva. But a realized sage knows that I am Brahman and looks upon the Eternal Atman as his self."
Be aware: "a realized sage KNOWS" is used in contrast to "mere book KNOWLEDGE", "I am Brahman" is not knowledge or "thinking", but a realization.
1.There is a principal difference between knowing something (essencing) and thinking something (presencing). The difference of both sides of the same coin - The Absolute...engaging as time. So far AAU has denied this.
2.There is a gradation of reificatition (stepping down the vibration of the soul)both, between knowing or knowledge and thinking or thought.
Never once has AAU responded to this distinction of life...
Knowing is into light, knowledge is sound. Thinking is out of light, thought is sound. Understanding integrates both.
Light sees reflected light via the dual eyes. Thinking creates out of light via the Single Eye - I. It is a NEXUS, not an "ego".
Light sees reflected light via the dual eyes. Thinking creates out of light via the Single Eye - I. It is a NEXUS, not an "ego".
'Sound' is just another form (vibratory rate) of light. 'Time' is about stepping the vibratory rate of the soul up or down. The soul is engagement of the ONE in time. The thinker is the steward of this engagement.
The scale of density of matter does not constitute 'reflection'. Reflection comes about as an intentional bifurcation by the ONE, and it only means one thing: self-awareness.

Observe the word 'thinking' in this quote. The stupid man thinks, and the sage thinks. Thinking is decisive in the bifurcation of awareness. The possibility of reflection is a tremendous mystery, sound is just the medium chosen.
